Details

Finished in Ford Kona Blue, this custom, all-steel-bodied Bronco is the result of a 7-year restoration that was completed approximately three years ago. Under the hood are three custom-made panels in a matte black finish with brushed aluminum touches and a Ford 302ci small-block engine that has been bored to .040. The engine features Ford Racing heads, .284/.480 camshaft, hydraulic roller lifters, push rods, roller rockers, double roller chain and sprockets, a set of L&L headers and a custom exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The Edelbrock 650CFM 4-barrel carburetor is fueled by an Edelbrock performer series mechanical fuel pump sitting on an Edelbrock 302 performance intake. It also features Ford electronic ignition, accompanied by a set of Ford Racing wires, Be Cool polished aluminum radiator, flex fan and Ford Racing water pump. A March serpentine pulley system ties it all together. Further cooling and lubrication of the engine are done with a Ford Racing oil pump and a Canton Racing oil pickup and oil pan. The stock 3-speed manual transmission is bolted to a Dana 20 transfer case with a Hurst floor shifter and sends power to the Ford 9-inch rear end complemented by a Dana 44 in the front end. Tuff Country leaf springs and coils from Wild Horses make up the 4-inch lift that clears the Goodyear Duratrac tires, and the U.S. wheels and Rancho shocks finish it off. All of the electrical components were replaced at the time of restoration - including a Centek wiring harness, halogen headlights, and 1966-style turn signal and taillights - and are powered by a Tuff Country 100-amp alternator. The undercarriage has been meticulously worked over and sheeted in brushed aluminum diamond plate, and the chassis differentials and other components have been coated in POR-15. The black-on-black interior is balanced with billet window cranks, brushed aluminum, chrome and Kona Blue paint, and features an Ididit tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, a set of AutoMeter gauges, a leather French-stitched dash pad and Billet nobs. The seats are leather and cloth inlayed with emblems from a 1986 Bronco II and the carpet is a graphite color trimmed in in brushed aluminum. The sound system, which lights up with blue LED lights, features a floor-mounted 700-watt Kicker amplifier, encased under acrylic glass, Kicker mid- and high-range speakers with custom crossovers under the rumble seat and three 10-inch subwoofers.
