Built at the Van Nuys, CA, assembly plant in the first week of February 1969, this '69 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS is powered by a solid-lifter 302ci V8 engine with smog equipment still in place paired to a 4-speed M21 Muncie manual transmission. Per the date codes, the transmission was assembled on January 4, 1969, and the engine was assembled on January 15, 1969. The engine bay is detailed with correct spring-ring battery cables as well as the correct clamps and hoses. This car is well-optioned, including A01 tinted glass, D55 center console, D80 spoiler equipment, J52 power disc brakes, N33 tilt steering column, N40 power steering, U17 special instrumentation, U69 AM-FM radio, Z22 Rally Sport equipment, Z28 special engine and Z87 deluxe interior with molded door panels.
