This 1969 Camaro SS396 convertible has been professionally frame-off restored with upgrades to improve drivability while maintaining its stock appearance. While it retains its Camaro SS 396 emblems and badging, power comes from a high-performance 454ci V8 engine mated to a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission, with 12-bolt rear end with 4.11 gears. The original GM body was professionally body-worked and is finished in Hugger Orange color with white stripes in base coat, clear coat, ceramic
coating for protection and a white convertible top. Other features include a high-volume Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fans, power steering, power brakes, disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. All-new electrical and wiring with full factory gauges, as well as a new top and power top mechanisms. With all-new glass and weatherstripping, this car also features new white houndstooth upholstery and a tilt steering column with a Rosewood steering wheel. This Camaro rides on new suspension with Hotchkis sub-frame connectors for added chassis rigidity, as well as Rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. With virtually every part being bought new, rebuilt or refurbished, this car drives as beautifully as it looks, with less than 2,500 miles since restoration.
