This is a complete frame-off, rotisserie restoration on an original 1969 build, X55 Camaro SS 350. This three-owner car was originally purchased new at Knauss Chevrolet in Tigard, OR, on May 29, 1970. The original owner drove the car and put 82,402 miles on it. In the mid-80s, the car was parked. The car sat until May 2000, when the second owner found the car in a Portland, OR, garage. He began a 2-year restoration that left no bolt unturned. The car was completely disassembled, cleaned and

rebuilt. The sub-frame, inner fenders, engine pulleys, battery tray, radiator support and suspension pieces have been professionally powder coated for superior durability at the recommendation of Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish. The original matching-numbers 350/350hp engine was professionally rebuilt and detailed to show specifications. The original matching-numbers Muncie M20 4-speed transmission was professionally rebuilt. The rear end has been professionally rebuilt. Every other component on the drive train has been rebuilt, restored or is brand-new. In addition, the smog system and spiral shocks were restored by Jerry MacNeish. The correct Medium Green interior has been restored to concours condition, including new headliner and sail panels. All gauges have been restored. The car has all of its original body panels and floor pans. All panels were blasted down to the bare metal and finished. All chrome and stainless is either restored or brand-new, along with a new green vinyl top, which is a rare option. The car has a set of five original date-coded XT COPO Rally rims with new red line tires. All glass and a correct, date-coded windshield.
