This 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible is powered by a period-correct 427ci V8 side-oiler engine paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The exterior is finished in red, with a white convertible top and a black interior. Of the 1,423 GT500s produced for 1968, 402 were convertibles, 249 were automatic, 51 of them were finished in red, 43 had black luxury bucket seats, 25 had a white convertible top and 13 featured the extra cooling package. This example is the only one that was delivered to New
