This 1968 Plymouth Road Runner is powered by an upgraded 426ci HEMI engine, which cost $21,000 to build by Tony De Pillo of Specialty Motorwerkes in Dayton, OH. Details of the build are included with sale. Most of the restoration was done by Tony and the heads were prepared by Arlen Vanke. The car has dual carbs, a 4-speed manual transmission with a Dana 60 rear end and 4:11 gears. Valve covers are done in a black wrinkle finish. The interior is in good condition and is all-original except for the carpet, which was replaced during the restoration. The trunk is complete with spare tire and jack. The undercarriage is highly detailed, and painted correctly with inspection chalk marks as they would have been done at factory. Gorgeous car inside and out.
