This restored 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E is powered by a 427ci side-oiler V8 engine paired with a C6 automatic transmission and a 3.50 traction-lock rear axle. This Cardinal Red Mercury features 1968 XR7G Lucas front fog lights complete with factory wiring, which were located and installed. It is equipped with a console, power disc brakes, power steering, tilt-away steering column, AM/8-track stereo, front seat headrests, styled steel wheels and tinted glass. This car was restored since it was acquired in 2003 using either original, rebuilt or NOS parts, including suspension, brakes, glass and chrome. This includes reproducing factory paint marks.
