1968 JAGUAR XKE 'SERIES 1.5' ROADSTER

This early 1968 Jaguar is one of the few E-types today popularly known as Series 1.5 cars, as they utilize the open headlight bonnets but are otherwise very similar to the Series I cars, retaining the very favorable 4.2-liter engine. This one was restored by Jaguar professional and well cared for since. This matching-numbers Series 1.5 roadster was built on March 29, 1968, and left the Browns Lane factory in Coventry just under a month later, on April 24. It was imported through Jaguar Cars of

New York. It is finished in Old English White over black leather and comes with a black soft-top. This E-type has its original fitted, late 4.2 seats that feature adjustable backrests, full instrumentation, fully synchronized 4-speed manual transmission and dual fans for increased cooling ability. This marked the end of the small taillights, parking lights and bumpers, which kept the lines and beauty of the iconic E-type. It is accompanied by maintenance receipts, as well as its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate. A recent service has been performed. Includes a DVD of recent service performed.
