AMX stands for American Motors Experimental. Only 6,725 of these cars were produced in 1968, and this car is one of 902 original 343ci engine with automatic-transmission cars. It has been updated with a 360ci engine with 10.5:1 pistons, steel rods, headers, MSD and rebuilt transmission with shift kit. A Go-Pak car, it features factory disc brakes, power steering and twin-grip posi-traction rear. It's also equipped with the original space-saver spare with air can. Repainted in Big Bad Green, it rides on Magnum 500 wheels with new correct Firestone red line tires and rebuilt suspension. Originally from California, this car is a solid, dry West Coast car wearing original AMC sheet metal, original floors and trunk pan.
