Description
This vehicle was purchased in 2017 in Southern California and shipped to KAO Autostyling in Las Vegas where it was completely restored from top to bottom for the shop foreman as a personal project. The body was stripped down and massaged for hundreds of hours, matching the gaps in all doors, hood and trunk. The body was then shot in a 2K primer and sealer and finished in original Volkswagen Coral Red. The 1600cc 4-cylinder engine was pulled and rebuilt by German air-cooled specialist Carl Fowler, and is coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission. The interior has been restored using the original vintage-style vinyl interior with the two-tone red and off-white color scheme. A set of original color-matched wheels with whitewall tires and the vintage luggage rack complete the classic VW look. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
