1967 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500E

This 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500E nicknamed 'Yellenor' was built by Unique Performance in Farmers Branch, TX. This Mustang features the Performance Package, which consists of a 427ci stroked small-block V8 engine that produces 450hp and is topped with stack injection, mated to a TREMEC TKO 5-speed transmission. The engine breathes through the standard issue 2.5-inch side-exit dual exhaust, long-tube headers and SpinTech mufflers. The front suspension consists of Unique Performance coilovers, shock tower bracing, power rack & pinion steering and Baer bump-steer adjustable tie-rod ends. In the rear, it is equipped with Unique Performance lateral coilovers and weld-in subframe connectors, a Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears and a driveshaft safety loop. Stopping power is provided by a set of Shelby calipers and drilled and slotted rotors. The trunk showcases the stainless-steel fuel cell and rear-mounted battery, with a cutoff switch on board. The nitrous bottle is complementary (but nonfunctioning) on this car, as is the 'Go Baby Go' button on the shifter. In the engine bay there is a Shelby embossment on the block, the full signature on the heads and Unique Performance embossed polished valve covers. The original stack covers were freshened up with a set of color-matching covers. This car has received upgrades, including a 200-amp alternator, Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft and a SPAL fan with an aluminum shroud.
