Details
This custom rotisserie-restored 1967 Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor Tribute Edition is the recipient of a 5-year build completed by StripMasters Inc. and Pure Muscle Restorations. This car was fully reconditioned, and every nut and bolt on this car is new (completed May 2023). This is a fresh, full Resto-Mod. It has the Mustangs to Fear Eleanor body modifications and accessories, including the side-exit dual exhaust and the Go-Baby Go shifter knob. It is powered by a Ford 5.0-liter Coyote engine with a VMP 2.65-liter Odin supercharger producing a conservative 639hp and 528 ft/lbs of torque mated to a TREMEC T56 6-speed manual transmission. It exhales through a Stainless Works 2.5-inch exhaust, which exits through the side rockers. All the 1967 factory suspension was replaced with modern technology. The new suspension assembly includes a Street or Track 3-link rear suspension with watts link and adjustable coilovers, a Rod & Custom Mustang II front suspension with adjustable coilovers, a Ford 9-inch rear end with a Strange center section carrying a 3.50 gear set and 31-spline Dutchman axles. Modern steering is provided using electric steering from EPAS. It is equipped with Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and an E-Stopp electric emergency brake. It is cooled by an MTF Coyote aluminum radiator and four electric fans. The car is professionally finished in the proper Pepper Gray Metallic color with black stripes using a 2-Stage PPG exterior paint along with four layers of clear coat, including the engine bay. The underside of the fastback and the trunk were coated with a tough DuraLiner to guard against road hazards. To protect against exterior sound and heat, the interior is covered in Dynamat and ceramic tint was applied to all window surfaces. For lighting, this Eleanor has daytime running lights and the correct PIAA lights in front, as well as the proper sequential taillights. No detail was missed, including the correct Shelby-style side-view mirrors, the Eleanor-style flip-up gas lid and all the correct badging. The interior features custom front seats and an OEM-style rear seat covered with black suede. It also has the proper Eleanor-style rollbar. The car is fitted with a double-DIN radio and a complete array of Hertz speakers and amps. A Vintage Air system heats and cools the interior with custom controls in the dash. All wiring was replaced with an American Autowire kit and the dash was fitted with Dakota Digital gauges. The custom center console contains the remote trunk opener as well as dual 2.0-amp USB ports. An MTF one-piece headliner with an upper console and custom door panels finishes off the simple yet beautiful interior. This car is riding on 18-inch American Racing Shelby Cobra wheels. Features keyless entry alarm with proximity sensors and a custom finished trunk with battery cut off. **TITLE IN TRANSIT** **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE**
