1967 FORD MUSTANG CUSTOM FASTBACK

The Deluxe Marti Report shows that this car was sold in Florida in 1967 and therefore a rust-free car. It was a big block car with several options. It now has many parts that were fabricated by the Shelby team in 1967 and are not repos. These include the deck lid, teak steering wheel, roll bar and inertia reels and Y belts for the shoulder harness and the grille. The engine is a fresh 428 FE Ford balanced and blueprinted with factory 428 Cobra Jet heads. Hooker headers are fitted and there are 9-quarts of oil inside the chrome oil pan. The drivetrain is equally beefy with a Top Loader 4-speed with a fresh rebuild. A Hurst shifter is used and the 12' clutch is contained inside a Lakewood scattershield. Out back is the original 9' housing fitted with Trac-Loc. The wheels are new Kelsey-Hayes 15' Mag stars, the brakes are factory Kelsey-Hayes power discs in front. This car offers power steering. Dash has factory tachometer.
