Number 53 of only 57 produced. Documented with three factory Build Sheets and original owner's manuals. Rotisserie restored and winner of the prestigious Platinum Challenge award at the Muscle Car Nationals. This is the only 427 Fairlane to earn this award. R-code 427 side oiler with race car package (medium-riser with factory dual Holleys), 4-speed Toploader transmission, 9' 3.89 ratio posi-traction, front disc brakes, transistor ignition, original lift-off hood, radio delete, Wimbledon White
with black upholstery. All 57 R-code Fairlanes were identically built. This is the highest-scoring and highest-level 427 R-code known with correct NOS components throughout. Featured in Popular Hot Rodding magazine in January 1990 and calendar car in 1991. Only 23 miles on the restoration and prominently displayed in a private museum for 18 years.
