Details
Nicknamed 'Novakill,' this 1966 Chevy II Nova SS has been rotisserie-restored and upgraded with the latest technology focusing on Pro-Touring and was finished in January 2023 with 100 test miles. Power comes from a Chevy Performance supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 crate engine with 650hp mated to an 6L90E 6-speed automatic transmission connected to a DSE Ford 9-inch rear end packing a GearFX N-Series center section with 3.70 gears spinning 31-spline axles. Spent gases flow through a set of modified
factory stainless headers to a custom 3-inch polished stainless exhaust with Borla mufflers. The Pro-Touring treatment starts with a Detroit Speed front subframe equipped with their power rack & pinion steering, TIG-welded tubular upper and lower control arms, spindles and integrated splined sway bar. Out back is a Detroit Speed QUADRALink system with exclusive Swivel-Link technology and an adjustable Panhard bar. There are adjustable DSE/JRi coilover shocks at all four corners. Under the Detroit Speed mini-tubs are 18x11 Schott MOD 5 forged billet wheels wearing meaty Falken Azenis P315/30R tires. Up front are matching 18x9s with P265/35R rubber. Stopping is courtesy of a Wilwood dual master cylinder, with front 13-inch Superlite 6R drilled and slotted rotors with 6-piston forged calipers matched to 14-inch Superlite 4R rears with drilled and slotted rotors and 4-piston forged calipers. The body was taken down to bare metal, each panel professionally body-worked and sprayed in Diamont's Soul Red Crystal metallic paint. The custom interior features a smoothed dash, Dakota Digital HDX instrumentation andTMI Pro-Series Power Sport-LR Grand buckets in black suede and vinyl, complemented by matching rear seating, custom console, and side panels accented by a black suede headliner and black carpet. A Billet Specialties Formula 14 D-shaped steering wheel tops an Ididit column. This SS also has Vintage Air, a Bluetooth Pioneer audio system with touchscreen, push-button start and power windows. An American Autowire system was used throughout the car. The engine bay features a smoothed firewall, DSE inner fenders, and Ringbrothers hood pins and hinges. Body mods include deleted cowl vents, a cowl-induction hood with vented steel louvers and one-piece side glass that completes the clean look of the profile. Additional cool enhancements include custom-engraved valve covers, Billet Specialties Tru-Trac serpentine system and a cold-air intake. The sale includes a photo book and a build binder with receipts, manuals and spec sheets.
