1966 CHEVROLET CHEVY II NOVA CUSTOM COUPE

This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova was built by premier builder Artistic Customs in Jasper, OR. It is powered by a new 525hp 6.2-liter GM Performance LS3 crate engine equipped with a Holley Terminator X EFI, dressed to look like a factory L79 engine, and mated to a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission. The engine is equipped with a Holley front-drive system, custom valve covers and Ultimate stainless headers. The Pro-Touring treatment includes black powder-coated Detroit Speed fully adjustable coilover suspension (QUADRALink in the rear) with a Moser 3.73 Detroit Tru Trac center section and hydro-formed full front frame fitted with tubular upper and lower control arms and DSE/JRI aluminum body coilover shocks with Detroit Tuned valving. It has power rack & pinion steering and Baer 6-piston Baer Claw Extreme brakes with calipers clamping on 14-inch rotors providing the stopping power. Other additions include a TIG-welded exhaust system, Rick's stainless-steel fuel tank, stainless-steel brake lines, and Fesler hood and trunk hinges. The exterior is finished in Sikkens Marina Blue paint and features Detroit Speed inner fenders, shaved bumpers and a custom-fabricated filler panel. Key customizations include a smooth firewall, Detroit Speed widened wheel tubs and a custom transmission tunnel. This Nova rides on custom-made 18- and 19-inch Forgeline RS6 wheels. The custom Navy Blue Mercedes-Benz leather interior was done by award-winning Jon Lind and features Dakota Digital gauges, power windows and a Vintage Air system. This build was completed in November 2023 with test miles only.
