Details

This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle has undergone a frame-off restoration. The frame and body were stripped to bare metal and epoxy-primed and painted in Carmine Red paint over a black interior with a black vinyl top. The drivetrain has undergone a full replacement with a GM Performance ZZ 502ci crate V8 engine with a roller cam, aluminum heads, 6-quart Moroso oil pan, Sanderson ceramic headers and a Holley carburetor. The engine is backed by a built TH400 automatic transmission with a 2500 stall torque converter. A custom heavy-duty driveshaft was installed, and the rear end has been replaced by a Ford 9-inch with Yukon axles. A new aluminum radiator was installed with two electric fans, and the fuel system has been completely replaced and upgraded with a 120GPM electric fuel pump. The car has been completely rewired, and the trim has also been replaced inside and out. The car rides on Hotchkis front suspension and has power front Baer disc brakes. The interior has also been completely replaced and features a new sound and heat barrier, as well as bucket seats and console. The interior also has factory-optioned in-dash SS gauges. The car has been finished with 20-inch Ridler custom wheels.
