This 'Factory Five' Re-Creation is finished in Galaxy Silver Metallic with black stripes and black interior. This is car order #963, FFR #2071. This rare special-order car came with the optional full carbon-fiber body at an additional cost of almost $5,000. It brought its total wet weight down to 1,986lbs. Titled as a 1965 Cobra, this car has traveled 2,375 miles since completion. What makes this Cobra so special is that it has a carbon fiber body making it extremely light and fast. The body
alone weighs roughly 50 pounds. It's powered by the Ford 302ci V8 that pumps out almost 425hp. Built right, it has COMP cams, hydraulic roller cam, Ford Motorsports pushrods, timing gear and Crane roller rockers. It also has the highly desirable Tremec 3550 center-shift 5-speed transmission, tubular frame, 4-wheel independent coilover suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, Mustang rack & pinion steering, Griffin aluminum radiator, electric fan, Painless wiring, Holley electric fuel pump, 750 cfm carburetor, Edelbrock Air-Gap intake, Jet coated headers and side exit exhaust system. Other features include 15' pin-drive wheels, 19-gallon aluminum fuel tank, Stewart Warner gauges, Simpson belts, woodgrain steering wheel, Lucas electric wipers, wind wings, black roll bars with headrests and fire extinguisher.
