This 1965 Ford Mustang K-Code convertible is finished in its one year only color of Dynasty Green with a black convertible top and black standard interior. Recently restored to factory condition and is powered by the matching-numbers 289/271hp High-Performance V8 engine with the upgraded Tri-Power intake and Cobra Dress-Up kit backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and 9-inch rear differential. Additional options include 14-inch Styled Steel wheels with Red Line radial tires, front disc brakes and full-size spare tire. According to the original Door Data Tag, this Hi-Po Mustang convertible was built on January 18th, 1965, for the Seattle District Sales Office. Sold new in February of 1965, the original owner would own it until 1974 at which time the K-code would make its way to California and spend the next 48 years. The last owner performed the restoration which included having the entire car taken apart and painted in 2017. A binder is included with the sale that outlines owner history as well as numerous restoration receipts. The original Owner's and High-Performance Equipment manuals are included.
