One of the original Mustang's great attractions was the vast variety of cars that could be created on the order list, from stylish boulevard machines to fast, sporting race cars. As the concept matured, the choices were refined and several popular options were arranged into equipment groups. It was possible to order many of the components separately as well. Thus, it is not unusual to find restored cars with various combinations of features. This is a rare 1965 Mustang convertible K Code. It features the 289/271hp V8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission. The powerful combination inspired Carroll Shelby to use it for the original GT350 Shelby Mustangs. This rust-free California convertible is finished in its correct Poppy Red paint. It is presented with the desirable white interior with bucket seats. It also features the contrasting white convertible top and the Rally Pac option with Rally wheels.
