Details
This 1965 Ford Galaxie is a re-creation of Ned Jarrett's championship-winning NASCAR stock car from 1965. The car was built for a corporate function and is the car that NASCAR used for their announcement of Ned's enshrinement into the NASCAR Hall of Fame at Infineon Raceway. The car has a professionally built 390ci 8-cylinder engine and professionally built Ford Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst Shifter. Its equipped with a COMP Cam camshaft, Edelbrock intake, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Sanderson Headers, MSD box and MSD drop spindles, front disc brakes, 15' Ford steel wheels by Stockton Wheel, a rebuilt Ford 9' rear end, 3.88 posi-traction rear end, and professionally built roll cage, rear interior panel, dash and interior.
