This 1965 Factory Five Cobra Roadster shows 5,600 miles and was built with accuracy and detail in mind. The car boasts a 5.0-liter engine that was professionally bored .30 over with aluminum heads, Holley and Summit billet distributor and ignition box. The car is equipped with an 8.8 rear differential and 3.55 gears as well as fresh clutches, new gears, bearings and axles. This car is super speedy and fun to drive while shifting through the standard T5WC 5-speed manual transmission, showing
2,200 rpm at 70 mph in fifth gear. The suspension and brakes are standard Fox Body Mustang, so parts are readily available at local parts stores. The gauges are Speedhut and have the reverse-wind GPS speedometer with 0-60, quarter-mile and top-speed recall; this is an upgraded gauge cluster from the standard FFR gauges. This car has an added seat glider for the driver, an optional heater that works great and windshield wipers. The vehicle is equipped with 17-inch Hailbrand FFR wheels with 245s on the front and 315s on the rear that run at 22 psi.
