Details
This Dodge was built on January 13, 1965, at the Lynch Road assembly plant as a 426 HEMI Coronet W051 Coronet Super Stock. It was shipped to Western Dodge Sales and Service in Owensboro, KY, on January 25, 1965n with fiberglass fenders, hood, bumpers and decklid. It was previously on display at the Floyd Garrett Muscle Car Museum and had extensive restoration to the as-raced configuration. The 426ci HEMI V8 engine features factory Alcoa-marked aluminum heads, high-dome pistons, transistor
ignition, forged-steel crankshaft, Hilborn injection, crane shaft, original S&S A/FX headers, original Prestolite distributor and an aluminum racing oil pan. The engine is paired with an Art Carr race-prepped TorqueFlite automatic transmission with the original A990-geared rear end. It features lightweight seats with the radio and heater delete. It includes a Chrysler Registry inspection report.
