This custom Pro-Touring coupe, affectionately named 'The Sting,' is a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette that has undergone an extensive restoration, seamlessly blending the iconic lines of the Sting Ray Corvette with contemporary luxury muscle car components. Powering this masterpiece is a professionally crafted crate 383ci stroker fuel-injected V8 engine, featuring Crane hydraulic roller camshafts, a one-piece main, 4-bolt and Dart Competition aluminum Pro-1 Platinum 72cc heads. The engine's performance is further enhanced by a March serpentine belt, TPIs mini-Ram with Fast EFI ECM fuel-injected system, FIC 38-pound injectors, Fast EZ self-tuning EFI control system and an inline fuel cooler. Additional notable features include a FAST electronic fuel pump, MSD 8572 tach drive distributor and wires with digital multi-spark CD ignition. The distinctive exhaust note resonates through a custom 2.5-inch dual side exhaust with glass packing and crossover. With its engine mated to a Keisler TKO-600/.64 5-speed transmission and a rebuilt 4.11 posi-traction rear end with Sombrero bushings, this Corvette offers a dynamic driving experience. The car boasts a Borgeson power steering assembly, QA1 adjustable rear shocks, VB&P specially valved KYB front shocks, Eaton 9-leaf 6/3 progressive rear leaf spring and Moog front springs. Ensuring reliable stopping power, it features 4-wheel disc brakes with a dual master, stainless lines and an e-brake. The lowered stance is complemented by new 20-inch wheels. Externally, the Corvette is finished in a custom mix of Stingray Red exterior paint, accentuating the 1965 big-block hood. Inside, the Vintage Air system, custom leather steering wheel, MrMikes reclining seats, door insulation for a quieter ride and a rear-mounted custom sound system contribute to the overall interior restoration. This exceptional vehicle also comes with additional highlights that include a chrome brake booster, chrome air-conditioning compressor, Dewitts aluminum radiator and a chrome 120-amp alternator. The sale includes manuals and a comprehensive binder of restoration receipts, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail invested in 'The Sting.' **TITLED AS 1965 CHEV UNKNOWN**
