Details
This 1963 Fairlane is a re-creation of the original factory experimental prototype that became the 1964 Thunderbolt. Powered by a 351ci V8 Windsor engine denoting the B/FX small block factory experimental marking backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor, high-rise manifold, headers, MSD electronic ignition box mounted on the interior firewall, and new shocks. Additionally, this prototype replica has a new Ram Air system, a new radiator with an electric fan, new electric fuel pump and gas tank, and a new 2.5-inch exhaust. Like the Thunderbolt, this Fairlane was built without a radio, heater, sound insulation and carpet. The dashboard is autographed by Bill Humphrey, who was a test driver for Ford. Includes documentation in a three-ring binder with recent photographs and receipts of the motor build.
