One-of-a-kind custom from Boyd Coddington. This amazing 1963 Dodge Polara custom coupe was built as part of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and featured on Discover Channel's 'American Hot Rod.' A collaboration of 17-year-old Max Cohen and Boyd Coddington and his Foundation, this custom coupe was completed in 2005. Sold at the 2006 Barrett-Jackson auction, it raised over $500,000 for the charities. Since then it has been on display as part of the Hendricks Collection at the Gateway Auto Museum.
472cid HEMI crate motor, 727 Torqueflite transmission and a 9' Ford rear end. Magnum Force Mopar tubular front suspension assembly and rear coilover and Ladder Bar suspension. Red custom Gabe Lopez interior, black exterior. The 'Max-HEMI' is the real deal. At 525hp and 540 ft/lbs of torque, it performs as good as it sounds.
