Details
Born in St. Louis, this 1963 Corvette split-window custom coupe was an early export to Canada and wears tags in French. The car spent a large part of its life in Canada until June 2008, when it was registered in South Carolina. This car was built as one of 1,114 with leather interior and one of 278 with factory air conditioning. It’s powered by a fresh 383ci stroker engine with aluminum heads and roller rockers, backed by a new Richmond Gear T10 4-speed manual transmission. Upgrades include Riverside Red paint, power steering, power disc brakes, dual adjustable coilover shocks, new side exhaust, new Coker red line tires on real-deal knock-off wheels, rebuilt posi-traction rear differential, rebuilt front suspension and rebuilt rear suspension. This Corvette is also equipped with a dual master cylinder and an original rust-free frame. 1963 was the first year for the Chevrolet trans-axle, first year for the Corvette coupe and the first year for air conditioning.
