This Split-Window Corvette was ordered with and retains its matching-numbers optional L76 solid-lifter high-performance 327/340hp engine, which includes a factory aluminum intake manifold, solid-lifter camshaft and 11.25:1 engine compression ratio, topped with a Carter aluminum-bodied AFB 4-barrel carburetor. It is backed by a BorgWarner T10 4-speed manual transmission and a Code G81 posi-traction rear axle, showcasing that performance was a priority.
