This custom 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a professional restoration that has been recently completed. This Resto-Mod is finished in PPG Ice Silver metallic with a Galaxy Silver Metallic Stinger hood stripe, topped with PPG high-solid clearcoat. All the chrome and stainless has been refurbished. It rides on an Art Morrison chassis that features Strange Engineering aluminum coilover shocks that are fully adjustable for ride height. The power plant consists of a GM Performance Connect &
Cruise LS3 6.2-liter engine that is rated at 525hp and is dressed in a Vintage Air front-runner accessory drive, mated to a 4L75E 4-speed automatic transmission, connected to a Strange Engineering third member with 3.70 gears. Stopping power is provided by a set of Wilwood 13-inch slotted and drilled rotors with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston out back. This 'Vette rolls on custom-built 20-inch rear and 18-inch front Schott Performance wheels wrapped with red line Hankook tires. The interior is wrapped in a deep Burgundy leather with black double-stitched accents and gray German-weave carpet. The interior is equipped with a Vintage Air Gen V Super Cooler system, Classic Instruments gauges, Autosound radio and a Shiftworks shifter. Other options include a silver/gray-colored Stayfast convertible top, LED lighting and a linear hood-opener. This Resto-Mod was finished in November 2023 and has test miles only.
