The all-new for 1963 second-generation Corvette, or C2 as it's commonly known, is one of the most iconic Corvettes ever produced. Affectionately known as the Split-Window, 1963 may be the only model year in which the coupe version of a car's build is more popular and desirable than its convertible counterpart. Finished in the original paint code 923A of Riverside Red with matching code 490C red vinyl seats, this Split-Window coupe comes from a private collection, where it has been stored in a completely climate-controlled environment. Power comes from the matching-numbers 327/340hp V8 engine backed by the M20 4-speed manual transmission. Factory options include the AM/FM radio, clock, tachometer, Soft-Ray tinted windshield and knock-off aluminum wheels. 1963 Corvette production began in September 1962, with this particular car being built in the fourth week of September. Presented in show-car quality, this early-production 1963 Corvette retains the original fiberglass headlight buckets only seen on the very early build cars.
