1962 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE 2 DOOR COUPE

This 1962 VW Bug was originally purchased by a US airman from Scottsdale Arizona stationed in Hamburg, Germany. This is detailed in the extensive documentation included with the sale of this classic VW. These documents include a copy of the original title, the original German insurance handbook and the original bill of sale from Hamburg Germany. The export documentation from Germany to Arizona is also included and are in the original owner's name. The license plate included with this car is the German issued plate used for the year the vehicle spent in Germany before moving to the US in 1963. The original VW has been augmented by the addition of the period correct dual luggage racks, the bamboo tray and new wide whitewall tires. This classic '62 VW was subjected to a pan-off restoration in July 2010 in the beautiful factory colors of pearl white and grey as documented in the original bill of sale. While celebrating its 50th birthday it still retains all its original charm and style. The vehicle has been recently tuned, including valve adjustment, setting the timing and a fresh oil change. The starter was replaced at the same time.
