This is a rare 1962 Scout 80 that has been lovingly restored by Vorstellen LLC. and tastefully modified with suspension, brake and interior upgrades. The upgrades include brand new and uprated suspension including new leaf springs, bushings, shackles, Bilstein 5100 series shocks and grade 8 bolts throughout. Brand new and uprated steering components including heavier duty tie rod, rod ends, drag link and drop pitman arm. Front disc brake conversion utilizing GM components for reliability and
serviceability. Fresh front wheel bearings as well as hubs and manual locking hubs from WARN. All exterior vehicle trim has been replated in nickel and hand brushed. Brand new 31x10.50R15 General Graber tires. Brand new Cragar wheels. Stainless, flexible and extended brake lines front and rear. Overhauled factory gauges and new oil pressure gauge. Custom powder coated bumpers front and rear. Custom soft canvas softtop with aluminum powder coated removable support cage. Uprated H4 headlights. Overhauled transfer case.
