Description
This 1961 Corvette is finished in Jewel Blue with contrasting white coves, which was exclusive for 1961. This was the last year for contrasting paint colors in the cove areas, and the last two-tone Corvette of any type until 1978. It is powered by 283ci engine with dual-quad WCFB carburetors, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The 1961 Chevrolet Corvette featured a major redesign, with the tail having four taillights. This 1961 features courtesy lights, new wide whitewall tires (which was the last year for them), new correct hubcaps and spinners, rugs, correct seats, seatbelts, new white convertible top, new muffler, new exhaust, new chrome and new pot metal. This two-year-old body-on restoration comes with booklets with pictures and some receipts.
