Details
In 1956 Toyota launched the 20 series to serve industrial expansion and to stimulate demand for Toyota vehicles around the world. The FJ28L is a last-year production model of the longest-wheelbase version of the 20 series. After many years, this unique, original and unmolested Land Cruiser was taken out of storage from a farm in Venezuela. Only minor cosmetic paint touch-ups (body-original patina), interior (new replica upholstery) and some mechanic repairs have been done to this vehicle after it was found. This FJ28 runs and drives, and has a period-correct 3.8-liter F-type 105hp overhead-valve 6-cylinder engine and a floor-shift 4-speed manual transmission, as well as a transfer to switch between 4x2 and 4x4 modes.
