1960 MERCEDES-BENZ 190 SL CONVERTIBLE

Details

This 190 SL is finished in Hellgrün (light green) metallic (db274) over Berry Red leather with a brand-new dark-green canvas top. It has been fully restored inside and out, top to bottom. It features a matching-numbers body and drivetrain that's been confirmed by Mercedes Kardex. It has matching body number stamps on the trunk, glove box and hood. All the chrome has been replated or replaced including the windshield frame. All the rubbers and weather stripping has also been replated or replaced,

including the windshield gasket. The interior features a completely restored Becker stereo with iPod integration and all-new Berry Red leather with correct stitching and patterns. All the gauges have been removed and restored, including new chrome bezels and restoration of the faces/needles. The original hand-wind Kienzle clock has also been restored with a new face and bezel. It also features exceptional quality engine bay detail including all-fresh anodized parts, fully rebuilt brake booster and fully rebuilt Solex carburetors which have been refinished to correct original aluminum. It has all-new hoses and factory-correct hose clamps, new heater boxes, new correct fuel pump with manual prime, new fuel filter housing and new fuel lines. Extensive care was taken to refinish all aluminum and exposed metal in the engine bay to correct original factory finishes rather than repainting. The original radiator has been cleaned, boiled, and refinished. The original gas tank has been removed, boiled, and sealed. The undercarriage including gas tank and suspension as well as fender wells are refinished to factory specifications with correct colors.
