200 miles on a nut-and-bolt restoration of a two-owner, rust-free California truck. Powered by a 235ci 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission.
Details
This two-owner 1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 stepside pickup was found, rust-free on a farm in northern California, still owned by the man who bought in new in Fremont, CA. The truck was completely disassembled, stripped down to bare metal, and every nut and bolt was refinished before putting it all back together. The original 235ci 6-cylinder engine was rebuilt, as well as the 4-speed manual transmission and rear axle. Only 200 test miles have been driven since the truck was completed.
