This blue 1958 Maico Blizzard is powered by a 247cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The blue finish is offset by red hand grips and a red seat. Maico motorcycles have been known internationally for years as some of the best trail and dirt bikes ever made. Maico also built a few street bikes. These bikes are known for their enthusiastic acceleration, hill-climbing ability, high top speed and great suspension. Even the worst roads are no problem for the rider due to the front and rear swing arm suspension using spring units incorporating hydraulic shock absorbers. From the Larry Winkler Collection.
