This beautiful Apache Cameo Carrier Pickup has many highlights. Only 1,405 Apache Cameos were built. As the VIN indicates, this truck was built in Kansas City, MO, as a 3100 series and equipped with optional V8. As the trim tag indicates, it was Golden Yellow with black. The truck has been completely restored from top to bottom. Everything on this truck was restored or replaced. It's in show-quality condition and is absolutely gorgeous. The body is straight with nice panel fitment throughout.

The yellow and black paint is virtually flawless and has been detailed nicely. The front and rear glass was replaced. The chromework throughout is stunning. The truck sits on Firestone Deluxe Champion 6.70 15' whitewall tires. The inside of the bed was painted black and all new wood was added. A custom set of bed rails were added for the extra touch. The dark gray and silver interior complements the exterior perfectly. This interior is rich and classy. Everything in the interior is in working order. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. During the restoration process, the decision was made to upgrade the factory 283 V8 engine with a 327 V8. These engines look the same, but the 327 has a lot more horsepower, which makes driving so much more enjoyable. The engine has the original-style air cleaner with a Rochester 4-jet carburetor. It has an AC Delco 12-volt alternator and is cooled by a Harrison radiator. The engine sounds great out of the slightly custom exhaust system. The engine is coupled to a 3-speed manual transmission. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed. This truck has recently been fully serviced and detailed. This is a great-looking truck that runs and drives great.
