It’s powered by its factory 289ci high-performance Studebaker V8 engine with the VS 57 variable-speed Paxton McCulloch supercharger, backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. This Golden Hawk is highly optioned with dual chrome exhaust tips and a Twin-Traction posi-traction rear end. This Golden Hawk is finished in its original shade of P5710 Midnight Black. The high-quality frame-off restoration, executed over a 5-year period, included refreshed brightwork, two-tone paint, correct silver tailfins and full factory wheel covers on whitewall tires.
