Owned by the consigning family for 45 years, this 1957 Chevy Bel Air received a professional no-expense-spared frame-off rotisserie restoration by Chucci's Rod & Custom of Hallsville, TX. It has been upgraded with modern technology throughout and has just 2,062 miles since completion. Power comes from an electronically fuel-injected Gen II LT1 5.7-liter V8 engine mated to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine is fitted with a Street & Performance serpentine belt system, cooled by a
Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans and highly detailed with chrome accessories and color-matched covers. Spent gases exit through headers attached to a stainless-steel exhaust system. This Bel Air also features Classic Industries power rack & pinion steering with remote reservoir, Aeroquip stainless-steel lines and fittings, Street Performance engine wiring with Painless wiring throughout the chassis and a stainless-steel gas tank with internal fuel pump. The frame has been powder-coated in a burgundy color and fitted with McCarthy 2-inch drop spindles, Hotchkis Sport suspension sway bars front and back, Monroe shocks and power disc brakes all around. This Bel Air rides on Billet Specialties wheels measuring 16 inches up front and 17 inches out back, wrapped in Kumho tires. The custom interior features two-tone leather, Cadillac Eldorado 6-way adjustable electric seats, a Dakota Digital dash cluster and clock. The interior is adorned with a billet polished aluminum dash band, rearview mirror, air conditioning vents and a custom console with cup holders and storage compartment color-matched to the cars exterior color. It also has an Ididit chrome tilt steering column with shifter, Budnik polished chrome and leather steering wheel and SPW electric power windows with AutoLoc switches. The cabin is cooled by a Vintage Air climate-control system with a Sanden compressor. Sound is provided by an Eclipse CD/MP3/WMA/Sirius iPod-ready stereo system with remote control. The Chevy has a custom sound box and panel in the trunk with a KICKER 400-watt RMS amp, Eclipse 60-watt amp, Focal Access 6.5 Comp Set speakers and 8-inch L5 SQ dual speakers. It also has SPW Electric Wipers and Halogen Sport Headlights. The Bel Air has won several awards, most notably a Top 10 at Ol' Marais River Run 2016, Best of Show at Rockaway Beach Centennial Celebration 2017 and Best Paint at Street Machine Nationals 2016. The sale includes detailed receipts on both parts and labor.
