Details

This custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 'Fuelie' convertible is powered by a fuel-injected GM 5.7-liter crate V8 engine producing over 350hp, paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear end. The exhaust is upgraded with new headers and properly fitted custom dual outlet pipes. It is equipped with a GM custom driveshaft, a new performance generation clutch, power steering, front Wilwood 14-inch cross-drilled rotors and a highly detailed engine bay. It rides on an Art Morrison

custom chassis with a frame-installed build plaque #0606318 mounted directly on the chassis, along with custom coilover suspension and custom Budnik 10-spoke aluminum high-polished Rally Sport Gasser wheels. Nearly all components and body parts were removed, refinished, replaced and updated where necessary. This example is finished in Sinister Black with a black Haartz cloth-style full-power soft-top over a two-tone black and gray interior. It features a body-color painted dash with chrome accessories, Classic Instruments new retro-style gauges, a Hurst 5-speed floor shifter, a new banjo-style wrapped steering wheel, a Chevrolet retro-style audio head unit and modern air conditioning. It has been driven approximately 1,000 miles since the body-off custom build.
