1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CONVERTIBLE

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is presented in a Larkspur Blue finish with a complementary blue cloth power convertible top. Chevrolet designers redesigned the Bel Air for 1957 with an artful front bumper with integrated grille, dual rocket-like hood ornaments, factory wheel covers and gold anodized trim. Under the hood of this classic is the Chevrolet 283ci small-block V8 engine, which is paired with a Powerglide automatic transmission. Power is maximized by the 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust system. The full presentation in the engine compartment features a glossy black background for the shiny orange engine block, Chevrolet script on the valve covers, correct generator and all the proper components and fasteners. Underneath the drop-top is the same high-level of craftsmanship, with every element properly restored to a factory-new condition. A very thorough and accurate restoration was performed in recent years by distinguished Tri-Five specialists at Snodgrass Chevy Restoration at great expense, and the car has been mechanically sorted to be enjoyable and reliable to drive, although few miles have been accumulated since completion.
