1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CONVERTIBLE

This Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is a fine example of 1950s American motoring at its best. In concours rotisserie-restored condition, the Bel Air sports its iconic code-799 Tropical Turquoise finish. Well-known Snodgrass Chevy Restorations completed the concours-grade rotisserie restoration on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, returning the convertible to factory-original condition in every aspect, from the authentically detailed engine compartment to correct factory markings and undercarriage. The exterior chrome and brightwork shines nicely, as well as the side trim that extends down the entire side of the over 17-foot automobile. A white power convertible top lets the sunshine in on the interior. Blue and white two-tone vinyl bench seats adorn the cabin, which is optioned with an AM radio and electric clock. Under the hood is a 265ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor putting out plenty of horsepower to the dual exhaust system. Power is transferred to the pavement via the Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission selected by means of the column shifter. The Bel Air rides on BFGoodrich Silvertown wide whitewall tires with full disc hubcaps and 3-bar spinners. Further features and options include power steering, power brakes, deluxe heater and dual chrome exterior mirrors. An Antique Automobile Club of America Car of the Year Nominee and National First Prize Winner in 2016, this 1957 Bel Air convertible has been driven a mere 26 miles since completion.
