The BMW historical record department factory-build documentation is included with the car's restoration receipts and documentation. This car has spent most of its life in dry storage held by private collectors. It was acquired from a private micro car collector in 2012. The car had a full nut-and-bolt, bare-frame rotisserie restoration in 2015. The frame and all suspension components were media-blasted and powder-coated. All of the car's mechanical components, engine, manual transmission,

differential/chain case were crated up and shipped to Georgia, where leading Isetta expert Werner Schwark completed a concours-level full mechanical restoration. Every mechanical component on the car has been rebuilt or replaced with the highest-quality parts available, regardless of cost. All chrome and nickel-plated parts were replated or replaced. The bare shell was completely stripped to bare metal and rust-treated. The only panel on the car that required replacement was the battery box. The car was epoxy primed and finished in an original soft yellow factory color. The top and rear convertible are finished in the factory correct grey vinyl fabric and the interior is a light cream color. The car also has the factory-correct rubber floor mat. The car was extremely fortunate to retain the full complement of its original glass. The car has a lovely vintage suitcase with period decals. It also has a full fitted Isetta car cover.
