Details
Built by Squeeg's Kustoms, this 1956 Ford F-100 Big-Window is powered by a Ford Racing 514/754hp big-block V8 engine, two Holley Dominators and headers fabricated by Chauvin Emmons and John Nickel. Features a 4.11-geared rear and polished C6 automatic transmission. Built on a Kugel chassis with custom billet independent rear suspension based around a Ford 9-inch center section and a Jaguar-style IRS. Bodywork includes a hand-fabricated bumper, plated grille by John Wright and a nosed hood with rounded corners. The top has been angle-chopped, with drip rails relieved and rounded door corners. Narrowed stock running boards, with rear fenders slightly widened at the rear. The bed has been shortened by 6 inches in order to accommodate the front wheel openings being moved forward. Interior detailing includes buckskin leather with ostrich inserts. The dash was extended into the doors with engine-turned inserts added. Vintage Air, power windows, Iditit, Lokar and Stewart-Warner amenities. Invited by Ford Motor Company to be displayed in their 2004 SEMA Show booth. Cover and feature of Classic Trucks magazine.
