1955 STUDEBAKER PRESIDENT SPEEDSTER

This 1955 Studebaker President Speedster is a 2-door hardtop coupe featuring an automatic transmission and 259ci V8 Passmaster engine. During restoration, mechanicals were attended to, and most chrome and gold plating was redone. Taillights and exhaust tips are NOS. The correct leather interior and paint were done at that time. This is a Raymond Loewy-designed car, available as a 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe or the 2-door Speedster. Only 2,215 were produced. It is equipped with power steering and brakes, tinted glass, 2-speed windshield wipers, Speedster badges with checkered flag emblems and more. Inside, the Speedster has a special engine-turned dashboard with a 160-mph speedometer and an 8,000-rpm tachometer. Seats are covered with quilted leather.
