Details
The Packard Caribbean was the most expensive American car for 1955, more expensive than the Cadillac Eldorado. It was also one of the most advanced cars with a powerful dual-quad V8 engine, ultramatic transmission, level ride suspension, dual mount power antenna, chrome wire-wheels, dual zone heat, Wonder Bar radio, tri-tone leather interior, power windows and seats and power top. This car is #24 of 500 produced and custom built for Dr. Phillip Heise who purchased it new and held ownership for 42 years, from 1955-1997. It is one of the most desirable colors, Code 'MUH', tri-tone white, pink, gray and has had a complete frame-up restoration starting with a very original car. It has all new suspension and a highly detailed engine bay and trunk compartment. This is truly an extraordinary classic car.
