Details
This 1955 Chevy custom is a rare untouched time capsule built in the late 1960s. It has been a part of Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum collection. The car features over and under head lights, frenched tail lights and frenched antenna. It has been nosed and decked. All door handles and locks have been shaved. The interior is all custom tuck and roll with deep carpet. The motor is a high performance 327 with a polished cross ram intake with two 4 barrel carburetors, chrome heads and custom valve
covers. The paint on the car is a beautiful Apricot metal flake lacquer that was applied in the late '60s. The car has lots of chrome: inner fenders and radiator support as well as the entire front and rear suspension including the rear axle housing and even the brake drums and brake shoes. The trunk is even upholstered. The entire car was built back in the late 1960s and showed in the ISCA mild custom class. After winning its class in 1972 the car was retired. The car has only been cleaned up and is presented as it was in 1972. This is a true time capsule.
