1954 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE CUSTOM SLIDING RAGTOP

This custom 1954 Volkswagen Beetle was modified during prior ownership and is finished in green over multi-tone green upholstery. Power comes from a replacement 1,776cc flat 4-cylinder engine paired with a Freeway Flyer 4-speed manual transaxle. It features dual carburetors and an aftermarket exhaust system. The suspension has been lowered and features a dropped front I-beam, while braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The five-spoke 17-inch Ridler alloy wheels are finished in white with bright lips and trim. The exterior is equipped with a sliding fabric sunroof, Safari-style pop-out windshield, fender vents, a side-mirror-mounted spotlight and decklid standoffs. Additional exterior details include a front-bumper-mounted fog lamp, dual side mirrors, semaphore side indicators, venting rear quarter-windows, an oval rear window, and a rear bumper-mounted auxiliary taillight. The interior features seating trimmed in multi-tone green upholstery with patterned inserts and color-coordinated door panels. Other amenities include hand-crank side windows, black high-pile carpets, an aftermarket shifter and a glove compartment, as well as a wood-grain-rimmed steering wheel that features a Wolfsburg-branded horn button and fronts a column-mounted analog clock and a 120-km/h speedometer.
