Details
Numbered TS/1113-LO, this long-door, small-mouth 1954 Triumph TR2 roadster was built on April 5, 1954, and factory-equipped with overdrive, which is not currently functional. A full restoration was completed in California during 2011 and the car remained there until 2015, when it migrated to Wisconsin, subsequently passing through Georgia and then in 2017 to Florida, where the restoration was further detailed prior to acquisition by the current owner. This TR2 sports a color change to red, which is complemented by a black soft-top and matching tonneau cover over the tan leather-trimmed cockpit. It comes with restored removable side windows and Brooklands-style racing windscreens. Power is provided by a correct replacement 1,991cc standard inline 4-cylinder engine with serial number TS1264E and correct twin S.U. carburetors. The engine is upgraded with an aluminum radiator, and the prior owner replaced the coolant hoses, clamps and tires.
